Ouzos Greek and Regional Cuisine was the Gressis family’s first foray into the restaurant industry.  The restaurant started with Asimina Gressis, the matriarch of the Gressis family, with her sons Iossif and Dennis, daughter Stella, and husband Petros.  Luckily Asimina was prepared for Ouzos, as she already had a reputation for her delicious homestyle cooking and experience with service.  For instance, she had a following from Swallwood Village Aquatic Club, where she ran the snack bar every summer, and she often cooked private meals for other families in the Waldorf area.
